The age gap does not matter when there is mental maturity, love, understanding, and compatibility. Different age gaps work differently for different couples. In wide age-gap marriages, the reality may hit hard and different as it is a challenge for both partners.

" In Western nations, 8% of male-female marriages have an age difference of at least ten years".

At different times in their lives, people of different ages may have different priorities. It's possible that the distinction results from how each person prioritizes their interests and goals.

The senior partner could take a superior position and try to parent the younger partners. The younger one can become irritated by the elder's persistent bugging.

It is possible for the older partner to take on a superior position and attempt to parent the younger partner. The younger one can become frustrated by the elder's constant pestering. which may lead and end in divorce.

In the end, Marriage with a huge age gap might work and might not.
